Found Art

If you are at this page you may have found some art, a hook, or another hand crafted object from my forge somewhere outside in the village of Nashville. It is totally free. BUT, if you like what you found and you would like to give something back, you can donate to the Indiana Nongame Wildlife Fund. The Nongame Wildlife Fund supports animals such as songbirds, frogs, turtles, and many other critters around Indiana. Because my art is inspired by nature, this is how I see that I can give a bit back.

Just for full disclosure, I do work for DNR, but I work exclusively with white-tailed deer, which are considered a game species. So none of these donations will go to my program.

To donate, click on the link below to visit the Indiana DNR’s Nongame Wildlife Fund donation page. Donate as much or as little as you like. In the comments section you can type in ”Thanks Blacksmith Cottage”. The critters of Indiana will thank you for your donation.

Just a side note – anything I put out for people to find will be outside and marked with a small tag. If you find something in someone’s shop…you will want to go back and pay for that. Not doing so would be stealing. And stealing is bad…even if you want it more than they do…

Coming soon to a Christmas tree near you…if you are in Nashville, IN…walking around…near a tree.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…
S hooks are useful for many things…so we will spread the love. Here is one left in downtown Nashville in the 4 corners area.
